The control and commanding system of the power supply for the Skyguide at Cointrin Airport must be absolutely reliable, that is why an update of the backup energy system was to be carried out. Detroit Diesel engines were kept and it was decided to implement the ComAp system for control and monitoring the mains breaker plus the entire engine and load-control system. Two IG-MINT applications were installed. The project was done by ComAp general distributor HügliTech and HJM Minnig.
