We continue in presenting you distributors of ComAp products. This time, we are proud to present you  distributor of ComAp products responsible for the United Kingdom, Ireland and Africa - IPU Group. We would like to congratulate IPU on celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.

IPU Group has been placed 48th in the Sunday Times ´Best Small Companies to Work For´ list released on 1 March 2009, and awarded a two star rating as a part of the ´Best Companies´Accreditation scheme in the UK - which measures the company´s engagement with employees.

Mr. Robert Beebee, Managing Director of IPU, answers some of our question:

What is your main field of work?
IPU have five Divisions and IPU´s Engine Control Division is the main distributor for ComAp and looks after UK, Eire, Scotland and most of Africa.

How long have you been representing ComAp?
IPU became the distributor of ComAp products for UK and Africa in August 2000

What do you like about ComAp products?
Flexibility, Reliability, Support, Leading Technology

What was your most challenging project realized with ComAp products?
I suspect this was the O2 project for Telecom Company, where we had 2x Gensets, 2x Mains Incomers and a Bus coupler controller. We have also completed a similar job at MoD Portland Down.
