ComAp’s InteliDrive Lite engine controller gives you the flexibility to measure engine RPM without the use of a speed sensor magnetic pickup.

On most engines, the battery charge alternator has a W terminal which can be used to measure the speed of the engine (via the RPM input terminals) without the need of a magnetic pickup unit. The InteliDrive Lite controller simply connects to this W terminal allowing users to monitor and control the RPM (and many other parameters) via the controller.

The integrated nature of the InteliDrive Lite controller allows you to measure accurately, monitor and control the RPM of the engine. You can export the data for further analysis, or even measure and monitor via the internet or other remote communications protocols, (especially useful if the engine is located in an isolated location).

Note: When a fast response speed control is required, it is always to reconsider if the W terminal can deliver a response sufficiently quickly.
