ComAp’s range of InteliDrive controllers are an efficient and cost effective way to control and monitor industrial pumps in many different applications. The simplest controller in the range is the InteliDrive Lite. This controller is suitable for controlling pumps in a mining, agricultural or industrial setting and municipal water distribution as well.
At the higher end of the InteliDrive range is the InteliDrive DCU Industrial. This controller can be used to perform very complex operations, including complex PLC functions with its inbuilt PLC and control decisions based on a range of sensing inputs. One common use is in hydraulic pumping where oil pressure must be controlled based on a range of sensor feedbacks.
The straight-forward, easy to navigate system that controls the InteliDrive DCU Industrial makes it the perfect choice for complex operations in locations where personnel have limited training and the multi-level user access ensures only people with the correct authorisation are able to operate the unit.
The newest member of the InteliDrive range is the InteliDrive EM. This controller is especially useful when an electric motor is backed up by another one or even if a diesel motor is the backup. The electric and diesel pumps can communicate with each other to ensure that there is no service interruption, should a problem with either engine occur.
All the controls in the InteliDrive range allow remote monitoring and control, via ComAp’s various communications protocols, they can even be controlled via the internet using a browser enabled smart phone. They also all support ComAp’s proprietary SCADA system as well as third party SCADA systems and the inbuilt history records means large amounts of performance data can be downloaded.
