WebSupervisor - additional local languages 19.11.2011

ComAp’s WebSupervisor system has proven very popular with customers, allowing users to remotely monitor their generating sets and other equipment in the field. WebSupervisor allows users to monitor and control equipment via the internet using a computer, tablet or smartphone. ComAp has also just launched an application in the Apple App Store which uses the iPhone’s alert system to immediately notify users of change of status or alarms.

Users benefit from an ‘always on’ connection to their assets giving immediate notification of change of status or alarm. ComAp has focused attention on giving more features to users in key areas, to help with daily tasks associated with monitoring the remote equipment. One such area was the History page, which now allows the user to view historical data for the assets, compare different measured values, or even values from a number of different assets.

WebSupervisor offers an attractive option for users all over the world and while many operators are comfortable with an English language interface, the addition of local language support widens the appeal globally and makes it much easier to build an asset monitoring solution in local markets. Most languages are supported, with more being added regularly. The system even supports ‘character-based’ language such as Mandarin and Japanese, and Cyrillic languages such as Russian and Bulgarian.
