Demand response specialists Peak Gen Power, a UK based company, who build own and operate demand response power plants which are used to provide short term operating reserve capacity for the UK’s national grid. They currently operate a number of multiple Diesel Generator sets which expected to produce several hundred MW in the coming years.

Commenting on the ComAp WebSupervisor system, “The system provides a very easy to use and accessible interface using the common internet platform. He Continues, “Overall WebSupervisor is a good free monitoring tool, and has certainly been invaluable over the last few months. As a free product I will certainly continue to use it, especially given the iPhone app and excellent support from our local ComAp integrator. “

A number of specialist companies were involved in bringing this time critical project to fruition; “The generators and equipment were supplied and installed by Ocktcom Ltd, a company specialised in the supply and installation of generators for demanding applications. Ocktcom worked on the design and installation of the control system alongside Power and Control Solutions who commission ComAp systems with all associated contractors achieving the commissioning deadline for the customer” explained James Beck of Ocktcom Ltd”

In addition ComAp’s distributor in the UK, IPU Group, worked closely all parties to ensure that the system was installed and commissioned in good time.
