ComAp Directors Martin Malek and Libor Mertl were among the 6 finalists of the prestigious Ernst and Young - Czech Republic Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 award. The owners of ComAp were chosen from more than 60 other companies therefore being one of the final six entrepreneurs.

With the judging panel consisting of successful entrepreneurs and previous years winners of the converted award, many factors were considered in determining the winner; such as vision, present and past achievements, integrity, financial success together with the particular story that follows a company or entrepreneur.

„The fact that those successful Czech entrepreneurs and managers decided to choose our company among the finalists is huge acknowledgement of our work and of the work of our employees. We are very proud,” said Libor Mertl, Managing Director of ComAp.

The winner, Mr. Eduard Kucera from Alwil Software, was announced on 11^th February 2010 at Zofin Palace in Prague.
